On National Seed Swap Day (seedswapday.com) -- January 29, 2022 -- Washington Gardener Magazine hosted a free, LIVE chat for seed swappers everywhere. 

The hosts were Kathy Jentz of the GardenDC Podcast, and Kim Roman, author of How to Garden Indoors & Grow Your Own Food Year Round. The live, online event featured seed swapping tips and prizes.

The last Saturday of January is recognized as National Seed Swap Day, and we are celebrating with a good old-fashioned seed swap. This free event is open to all local gardeners. Bring open-pollinated seeds that are labeled and prepackaged to share with others (20-30 seeds per packet). There will be giveaways of course, and Sally and Jay White from the fabulous Texas Gardener magazine will be in the shop to speak about “Growing Great Gardeners.” It’s going to be a great event, you won’t want to miss it!

Ogden Seed Exchange 2022 Seed Swap

Time: 10 am - 1 pm

Admission as always is free

   We will feature several vendors who grow seeds in our local bio region and hope you have saved seeds to share/trade with others. If you have gardening books, magazines or other garden related items bring them to share/trade. You do not need to bring seeds to participate.

   Also, with continued public health concerns we ask that you stay home if you are experiencing fever and respiratory problems like coughing. Masks are highly recommended.
