Grow Portland's third annual Seed Swap is a chance to share seeds you have saved in your garden.
Event Details:
Saturday, February 9th, 2019 from 2:30-4pm at the Irco Community Room, 10323 NE Glisan St in Portland.
The event is free and open to the public.
Please sign up on our website in advance if you plan to attend.
Bring extra seed you have saved in your garden to share with others and discover new varieties. Local gardeners and farmers will have the opportunity to learn about seed saving and take home seeds. If you do not have any seed to share, you are welcome to come too— we normally have plenty of seeds. We encourage participants to arrive at 2:30pm sharp to set up. We will provide labels, table space to display seed and materials to help package the seeds.
This year, our event is held in partnership with Outgrowing Hunger and the City of Portland Community Gardens Program where attendees will have the opportunity to register for community garden plots.
Contact David, dbeller@growportland.org for further questions.
